It’s officially summer! Weather like this makes you want to have a nice cold one with good friends and family. Shout out to one of my favorite places to get an IPA @ferndaleproject, which is owned by @easternmarketbrewing. Last year I had the pleasure of building this 27’ long white ash bench to increase some outdoor seating for them. Looking forward to making some more memories here.

You know the Joe Luis statue “The Fist” in dow

You know the Joe Luis statue “The Fist” in downtown Detroit? Did you know the sculptor, Robert Graham, created a few (rare) miniature versions, including one featured at the DIA? Me neither!

One of my clients was able to obtain one and I had the privilege of building a gallery pedestal for it. It wasn’t the biggest project in the world, but I was happy to be involved in giving this art piece a new home.
